What is Arogya Setu? 

Arogya Setu is an app launched by the government of India to keep the citizens informed about the latest COVID-19 reports. Arogya Setu tracks user location through Bluetooth and location services in your smartphones and alerts the user if he or she crosses path with anyone who tested Corona positive.

Who can download Arogya Setu?

Any smartphone user can download Arogya Setu. It is available for both Android as well as iOS. However, feature phone users can not use the services of Arogya Setu. To get updates one can also follow it's social media handles like Twitter, Facebook, Youtube and Instagram.

How to Set-up Arogya Setu App?

1. Firstly, download Arogya Setu by clicking here or through Google Play / Apple Store.
2. Open Arogya Setu in your smartphone.
3. Now, Choose the language you want to interact with and click NEXT( Arogya Setu supports 10 Indian languages and English ).
4. Now, click on Register now at the last slide of information page.
5. Allow all the necessary permissions such as Bluetooth and device location.
6. Enter your phone number and click Submit.
7. Validate the OTP sent to you via text message.
8. The app will ask some of your basic details. Fill it correctly and tap Submit.

You are done! the app will redirect you to the homepage. It will show the level of risk you have. If it's displaying 'you're safe' with green colour, Nothing to worry about.

Conclusion:-

Arogya Setu is no doubt an excellent initiative to help us fight corona. The interface is also user friendly but, it is based on the data provided by the user. If the user provides wrong credentials, it will provide the wrong report and thus will not do any good.
